Material Review Board (MRB Engineer)

Description du job :
The MRB (Material Review Board) Engineer will execute MRB activities in order to come to founded decisions about the disposal, repair or use of rejected materials in Asco.
 
Non-conformity handling : analyze the non conformity in order to establish a disposition
  • Analyze non-conformance report and associated documentation and specific customer requirements
  • Assess if all necessary information is available and request additional information if necessary and communicate with involved departments
  • Treat the Non-conformance Document (Rejection or Derogation Report – RDR) which defines the defect
 
Programs with Asco MRB Authority : communicate with Engineering department in order to assess engineering decision after a global quality check to assure clear, precise instruction in the disposition
 
Programs without Asco MRB Authority : establish the concessions following the templates and procedures required by the customer.
  • Contact the customer (focal point for Non conformity issues)
  • Report to Program Managers on open issues
  • Review and assess correct cause/corrective action analysis supplied by Asco departments.
  • Challenge and authorize the disposition made by the customer
  • Follow-up the concessions and communicate decisions to the internal Asco departments.
 
Rework/Repair/Scrap process : establish the rework/repair/scrap process in order to close non-conformance.
  • Describe rework/repair process in detail
  • Allocate work centres to the specific tasks
  • Make use of sketches or digital images as appropriate
  • Reference drawing location of the defect
  • Validate and approve non-conforming products in the ASCO e-RDR-system
Profil recherché :
Education : Industrial Engineer or Civil (Mechanical or Electromechanical) or equivalent through 2 years of experience in a similar function in the engineering industry.
Languages : French and/or Dutch and a level of technical English is required
Skills / Experience :
Experience in industrial manufacturing in an mechanical company is a must, precious experience in a similar quality function is an advantage
Thorough technical knowledge and interest, both product knowledge and process knowledge
Well-developed analytical skills
Good team player
Result oriented
Takes initiative and displays a pro-active attitude
