Job Description :

The Logistic and Delivery Coordinator is responsible for the on time delivery (OTD) of parts from launch until shipment, with a direct communication link between the customer and the operations organization within the Operating Unit (OU). He/She takes operational responsibility for the order management and component delivery follow up of the inbound OU flow in order to meet the OU objectives.

 

Accountabilities

DELIVERY PART

  • Production Plan: Take responsibility for the implementation of the production plan for the OU programs, planning and monitoring of production activities in order to guarantee the on time delivery to the customer
  • Perform requirements analysis: Analyze component and capacity requirements in order to guarantee the on time delivery to the customer.
  • WDQ and RDR process follow-up: Be actively involved in WDQ and RDR Processes and ensure adequate follow up in order to reduce the WIP and to avoid obsolete stock.
  • Correctness MRP data: Propose corrections of MRP data such as lead-times, safety stock, etc to Sales & Operations Planning in order to adhere to the production plan.
  • External and internal interactions: Ensure external and internal interactions in order to have a good cooperation with the customer.

 

LOGISTIC PART

  • Internal management flow: Ensure communication with internal customers (delivery coordinators and supervisors) and warehousing, incoming inspection and shipping team in order to keep the component availability under control.
  • Data management: Ensure and maintain accurate and reliable ERP parameters regarding all purchase items with regards to production plan, supplier or configuration changes in order to keep the system up to date.
  • Supplier Follow-up: Ensure communication with his/her supplier base in order to obtain and keep a good relationship and to have reliable information to be able to challenge the suppliers to improve the delivery dates.
  • Follow-up of KPI’s: Ensure all KPI’s related to the function are up to date and correctly communicated to the team in order to proactively foresee risks in the supply chain and react/escalate accordingly.
Profil recherché :

Profile

Education: Industrial / Commercial Engineer or Graduate

Languages: Dutch, French and English

Skills / Experience:

  • 0-2 years experience
  • Experience in inventory/order management in production environment is an advantage
  • Interest in logistics, supply chain and lean manufacturing processes
  • Well-developed analytical skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills; capable to interact with suppliers
  • Assertive, Stress resistant, Team-player, Autonomous, Result Oriented, Pro-active attitude
  • Experience in Production Planning, in Mapics, in MRP and in lean management is a plus
  • Experience in MS Office tools: Word, Excel,…
