We reserve the right to modify the present personal data protection policy at any time.

Description of data processing operations. We process only the personal information you supplied to us when you registered for our service by filling in the My Job Campaign form (hard copy or online) and the information you supply when updating your data on our website: Myjobcampaign.be. We also collect and keep the linguistic preference you indicated when consulting our website using cookies (for further information, please refer to our policy on the use of cookies).

The information we need in order to provide you with our services is marked with an asterisk on the form you complete. You need not complete the other fields not marked with an asterisk.

We process your data for the following purposes: (i) putting you in touch with potential employers and job-finding services more generally (creating CVs, providing CVs to potential employers who consult My Job Campaign, putting interested parties in touch with potential employers (directly or indirectly), matching CVs with job vacancies, issuing invitations to recruitment gatherings organised by My Job Campaign or potential employers), (ii) statistics (e.g. concerning the mother tongue of graduates and future graduates in My Job Campaign’s database, the type and level of courses studied or the campus concerned), (iii) My Job Campaign’s technical and other types of performance, (iv) information concerning our new services.

Your personal information is processed (i) because you gave your consent by completing the My Job Campaign form and (ii) in accordance with the contract between you and My Job Campaign, since the processing of your personal data is necessary to enable us to offer you the services described above.

Your personal information is shared with My Job Campaign’s employer partners and other partners whom we select with care to enable us to offer quality services, and with subcontractors who assist us with the accomplishment of our activities (e.g. computer services and the dispatch of emails). To assist us with the dispatch of emails (e.g. invitations to recruitment gatherings organised by one of My Job Campaign’s employer partners), we have contracted the services of MailChimp, a company based in the United States which may potentially transfer your personal data to the United States when it provides its service. However, MailChimp undertakes to respect the principles of Privacy Shield, that is to say to ensure that your information is adequately protected. For further information, please read their general conditions: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/.

We keep your personal data for as long as you remain in our database, that is to say until you have expressed the wish to unsubscribe and/or to have your data deleted.

The rights of the parties concerned. As the party concerned, you have rights designed to give you control over your personal data.

You are entitled to gain access to the personal information we hold concerning you and to correct any which is incorrect or incomplete by connecting to your account under the “my information” tab on our website.

You have the right to request the deletion of your information when you withdraw your consent to its processing and there are no other legal grounds for its processing, when you believe that it is no longer necessary in the light of the purposes for which it was being processed or when it must be deleted in order to fulfil a legal obligation envisaged by the law of the European Union or your own country's law. That right can be exercised by selecting the option “That my CV and my personal data be deleted from the database” (any de-registration is definitive, but you can re-register by creating a new account) when you connect to your account, under the “my access” tab on our website.

You can request the limitation of processing operations when you dispute the accuracy of your personal information (processing is then limited during the period necessary to enable us to check the accuracy of the information), when the processing is illicit and you prefer that the use of your information be limited rather than that it be deleted and when you consider that we no longer need your information for processing purposes but you still need it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. For My Job Campaign, the limitation on processing consists of ceasing to process the information, except for keeping it for the time necessary to conduct the verification described above. Thus, when processing is limited, we shall make the information inaccessible. This right can be exercised by sending an email to privacy@myjobcampaign.be

You are entitled to receive the personal information concerning you, which you supplied to us, in a structured format in general use and machine-readable, or to transmit that information to another entity in charge of processing (“right to data portability”). This right can be exercised by sending an email to privacy@myjobcampaign.be

If you contact us to exercise your rights, we shall reply to you within one month. Exceptionally, that period may be increased (up to a maximum of three months), but we shall then inform you of the reason for the extension within one month.

If you wish to make a complaint about the processing of your personal data by My Job Campaign, you can present a complaint to the competent supervisory authority.

Any questions? If you have any questions and cannot find the answer in the present policy, please contact us at privacy@myjobcampaign.be.

You are entitled at any time, for reasons related to your individual situation, to object to the processing of the personal information concerning you.
